In a small Pokemon village, everyone was getting ready for sleep. Everyone
but Darkrai, who was angry at the time. Darkrai was the leader of a club called The Dark. No one would join, knowing that
Darkrai had always been so unkind to them. Earlier that day Darkrai tried to get the last Pokemon in the village whom he hadn't
asked into his club, and the Pokemon refused. Enraged, Darkrai decided to convert the club into an army. An army, he said,
that would overthrow the Pokemon world.
Darkrai did not ask Pokemon to "join" his army. He MADE them join, by
inviting them to his home and using Thunder Wave on them, then he changed their colors, modified their memory, and Teleported
them to his headquarters. He renamed his army, from The Dark to The Dark Force. Darkrai thought he had it made, but he was
seriously wrong.
Darkrai decided to recruit the only Pokemon he had never hated, a Rapidash.
She didn't object to Darkrai's Paralyzation on her but she said that she would "stop him one day". She also said that she
sincerely hated Darkrai. He appeared not to have noticed and Teleported her to headquarters.
Many others were recruited, not all unwillingly. Some old friends of
Darkrai's (Sharpedo and Haunter) had asked to be in the Dark Force, and Darkrai accepted. He did not modify their memories.
A little Vulpix was walking around in the village(his mother was out
hunting) when Darkrai took him to his house. Vulpix said, "Where's my Mummy? I want Mummy." over and over, until he realized
what Darkrai was doing (there were rumors of it in the village) and snarled, " My mother will come. She will come for me and
she'll stop you! She'll help to get the others you've recruited out too!"
Darkrai recruited a very intelligent Espeon, who knew what he as doing
and told him. Espeon said: Darkrai, you want me to become a Darkness Pokemon. I do not want to be a Darkness Pokemon. You
did this to Nidorino, Rapidash, Golduck, Primeape, Manectric, and many others. I'm not stupid, Darkrai, I know why you're
doing this, and I'm determined to stop it! Darkrai realized how smart this Pokemon was and found he could not modify his memory,
even though he tried as hard as he could. Darkrai Teleported Espeon anyway.
A Quilava asked to be a recruit. Darkrai, naturally, let him in, and
Quilava said something relative to what Espeon said. Then Quilava stated something that Darkrai was not ready for: Rapidash
was his cousin. Quilava's mother was a Typhlosion, and Quilava's mother's brother was married to a Rapidash.
"Then they
had my cousin. You do realize, Darkrai, that both me and my cousin don't like you?" said Quilava as he finished his story.
After a pause, Darkrai said, "Yes. I realize that."
Many of the villagers stopped walking around alone, and the younger Pokemon
were never allowed outside. News had spread of The Dark Force and the village Pokemon were determined to fight. An attack
on The Dark Force's headquarters was to be carried out soon. Since the subject of the attack was being kept quiet, Darkrai
was completely unaware. Darkrai was also unaware that some of the villagers had created a force of their own, called The White
Squad. The White Squad was composed of a leader, two captains, and the rest of the members. Since The White Squad was supposed
to be secret, no oneknew who the leader was, but rumors had leaked out of who the captains were. The first captain was a Typhlosion.
The second, an Arcanine.
Four days after The White Squad was formed, Darkrai "recruited" Arcanine,
and Arcanine did not object (even though this wasn't the plan, he became a spy). Arcanine pretended to lose his memory.
The Dark Force needed only a few more troops, and it would be ready.
"Ready for what?" Sharpedo had asked, and Darkrai answered: " For the siege of the Pokemon world." The Darkness Pokemon answered
only to Darkrai; they only knew Dark type attacks. They knew their leader was Darkrai, and they would follow him anywhere.
They had no idea what was happening to them.
After three weeks of preparation, The Dark Force was finished and ready
for battle. Darkrai was just going over tactics with his troops when one of the headquarter's walls exploded. After the dust
had cleared, The White Squad was visible, being led by their leader.....Ninetales. "Mom! We gotta stop him!" skrieked Vulpix,
and Quilava said, " Hi, Mom. Ready to wreck this place?" Darkrai was overwhelmed; now Espeon, Rapidash and Arcanine were running
to join The White Squad, and within a few minutes the place was destroyed. The Dark Force was fighting very well, they were
some of the most powerful Pokemon ever. But a Raichu form the White Squad would paralyze them all with Thunder Wave. Then,
Arcanine and a Sceptile would use moves like Fire Blast and Solarbeam to knock out The Dark Force. The only member left was
Darkrai.
Ninetales and Rapidash walked slowly toward Darkrai, who was cornered.
He gulped. Ninetales
used Flare Blitz, and Rapidash used Hyper Beam to get Darkrai's HP down to less than ten. And
then...
Darkrai teleported. "WHAT?!?!" Rapidash screeched. "HE GOT AWAY!! ARGGHHH!!!"
So, even though Darkrai escaped, The Dark Force's former recruits were
returned back to normal, and Vulpix, Quilava, and Rapidash were best buds. All was well.
For now.
